Waterfall Bay is a secluded cove in the SW corner of Port Ligar, located in the outer reaches of the Pelorus Sound, part of the Marlborough Sounds, regarded as the crown jewel of the Marlborough region.

The bay is appropriately named from the beautiful waterfall which cascades through the bush from about 100 metres above the buildings.

The Lodge
The Lodge which sleeps 24 is ideal for fishing parties, team building weekends, family groups etc.

The kitchen is fully equipped and all electric. There is a log fire, TV, video, barbeque, large fish smoker and freezer available for your use. Complimentary dinghies are also available.

Bring your own sleeping bags or a duvet and linen.
Pillows provided.

Waterfall Bay Store
The Waterfall Bay Store is the northern most shop and off licence in the South Island. It is well equipped for visiting travellers, boaties and fishing folk.

The shop is stocked with fishing supplies and equipment, ice cream, confectionary, beer, soft drinks, toiletries, hardware, fresh, frozen and canned grocery items.

Whenever possible we stock local produce - world class Marlborough wines are of course paramount on the shelves!
